Feng Chen Wang
The Beijing-born Feng Chen Wang launched her first collection in 2015 upon graduating from the Royal College of Art in London, making her runway debut with a strikingly colored and tailored SS16 collection at NYFW. Her womenswear offerings have subsequently accumulated increasing acclaim, with particular attention paid to her unique directional streetwear styles. Describing her aesthetic as “contemporary, emotional and structured”, she focuses on technical outerwear, creating unisex clothing for both men and women, which is functional but at the same time conceptual and personal, drawing on her life experiences. Feng Chen Wang’s label brings to menswear a minimalist, conceptual, and forward-thinking approach. Striking statement pieces work well as contrast with the soft monochromes seen elsewhere in her collections.
