MM6 Maison Margiela
Conceptual Belgium designer Martin Margiela founded his couture house in 1988 and quickly established himself at the forefront of the fashion avant-garde scene. Maison Margiela has maintained the tradition of anonymity its founder established in his career-long refusal to grant interview or public appearances. Women's line cult staples label MM6 is known for its sporty ready-to-wear and off-beat accessories, more casual, street-inspired take on the Maison's intellectual approach to luxury. Sportswear, clever graphic prints, sneakers, and geometric forms are always represented in its unexpected takes on urban basics. Expect deconstructed silhouettes, clever graphic prints, innovative fabrics and a collage of clashing textures.
