Malaysian born designer Joe Chia founded his label in 2012 and very quickly found fans not only in its native Malaysia, but all over the world with his timeless clothing that is comfortable and wearable, reminiscent of a contemporary art object. Joe Chia became one of the prominent representatives of the fashion avant-garde scene and pays particular attention to detail, asymmetry and competently shifted proportions. The label has a distinctive discernment of thought-provoking silhouettes with nuances of monochromatism and functional essences being woven through whilst maintaining a strong tie to traditional and urban origins.
