Aviva Jifei Xue

Aviva Jifei Xue is a menswear designer who graduated from Parsons and established her brand in New York in 2020. Aviva Jifei Xue is influenced by her growing life experience in China and Japan, the love for special weaves and touch of handmade and antique fabrics. She began experimenting with the splicing of fabrics, with different textures and the recycling of antique materials. The fabrics used for each garments are usually available in limited quantities because of their uniqueness. Shirts are made of antique Japanese kimono silk fabrics from the 1950s to the 80s, with ceramic buckles handmade and glazed by Japanese craftsmen.
